In short: you are buying a licence to run VidReign on your own computer. The videos
you make with it are yours. Your plan sets how many machines you can activate and how
many minutes of video you can render each month. Don't share your key.
1. What you are buying
A non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use VidReign for as long as
your plan is active. You are licensing the software; you are not buying ownership of it,
and the software itself remains ours.
2. Machines
Each plan allows a set number of computers. When you activate, the app registers that
machine and shows it to you by name inside the app, so you always know what is using
your licence.
You can remove a machine yourself from inside the app.
After a removal there is a 7-day wait before you can remove another.
This exists so a licence cannot be passed around a group by swapping machines daily.
The number of machines allowed on each plan is shown on the pricing page and in the app.
3. Minutes, and the limits that apply
Each plan includes a number of rendered minutes per month. The counter
resets at the start of each billing month.
There is also a daily ceiling, set to a quarter of your monthly
allowance. It is not a second charge — it exists so that a leaked key cannot burn a
whole month in one day.
Every render is counted as at least a small minimum length, so that
producing very many very short clips is not a way around the monthly allowance.
Premium script generation runs on our own AI account, so it has its
own monthly allowance, calculated from your plan (two scripts per video you could
render, counting each video as 10 minutes). When that allowance is used up, or when our server cannot be reached, the software
can still give you a basic offline draft made on your computer. That draft is a simple fallback,
not the AI script writer, and it is not unlimited AI writing.
AI background illustrations (paid plans, not the free trial): up to 15 per film — fewer for
short films — made only while that film is being built. When that limit or the daily cap is reached, the scene
keeps its designed background.
The free trial lasts 3 days and includes 20 minutes, with no separate daily ceiling, on
one computer. It is available once per email address and once per computer. Buying a plan ends the trial
and gives you a new licence key.
Your current usage is always visible inside the app before and after each render.
4. Working offline
The app checks your licence with our server. If our server cannot be reached:
A render that has already started will always be allowed to finish.
For a short period the app keeps working normally, so that a brief connection drop
does not interrupt you.
Starting a new render requires the app to reach our server again.
Any minutes produced while offline are reconciled against your allowance the next time
the app connects.
5. What you make is yours
We claim no ownership of, and no licence to, the scripts, images, audio or videos you
produce with VidReign. We do not receive copies of them.
Material that the software fetches from third-party libraries — stock footage, images,
music, sound effects — carries the licence of whoever published it. The software records
the attribution it is given, and it is your responsibility to honour those licences when
you publish.
6. What you may not do
Share, resell, sublicense or publish your licence key.
Attempt to bypass, patch or disable the licensing, metering or usage limits.
Resell VidReign itself, or offer it as a service to others, without a written
agreement from us.
Use it to produce material that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights,
or that impersonates a real person or organisation.
Use the premium script service as a general-purpose assistant, or try to redirect it
with instructions hidden in a topic, style instruction, niche or channel name. Requests
that do this are refused — for a documentary film you are asked to paste your own script
instead.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or revoke a licence if it is refunded or charged back, if the key is
being shared, or if the software is being used in a way that breaks section 6. Where the
situation allows it, we will contact you first.
You may stop using the software at any time. See the
Refund Policy for money back.
8. Third-party accounts
Some features work only when you connect your own account or API key — for voice, stock
media, image generation, or publishing to YouTube and Instagram. Those services set
their own terms, prices and limits, and we are not responsible for their availability,
their charges, or changes they make.
9. No guarantee of results
VidReign is a production tool. We do not promise views, subscribers, revenue,
monetisation, or that any platform will accept or approve what you publish. Those
decisions belong to the platforms and to your audience.
10. Availability and liability
The software is provided as it is. We work to keep the licence server available, but we
do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total
liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the
claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always shows the current
version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
